Well that was painful to watch…
Oh yes, you know us people who actually give a shit about the environment —- we’re trying to indoctrinate the children with horrible values like recycling and planting trees. GOD FORBID we teach them about that. And GOD FORBID we teach them that money isn’t everything and that by stealing and lying and manipulating your way to the top is no way to become truly successful. You’re right FOX Business. Let’s teach children that we should try to be successful by being as rich as we possibly can be through whatever means we have to take, and when we get to the top it’s A-OK to forget about all the people who helped put you there and it’s perfectly fine not to try and help out those in need. Oh and change is bad. Even if it’s secretly a really good thing, it’s bad. It’s also fine to be racist, and close-minded. It’s fine to justify your hatred and prejudices with religion. It’s cool to be hateful and prejudiced in the first place because something or someone is different or not your ideal of perfect.
How about this?
There are good people in the world and bad people in the world.
There are beautiful and kind conservatives and horrible and selfish conservatives. There are beautiful and kind liberals and horrible and selfish liberals.
You absolutely cannot judge an entire group by some of the people in it.
It is not okay to be mean, hateful, and rude.
You should take care of the Earth, because this is your home and you want it to stick around for as long as possible (trust me on this one).
It is not okay to hate somebody or be mean to them because they are different or they aren’t what you are used to or because they look a certain way.
Don’t judge someone before you get to know them. People can tell you things about them all that they want, but until you have met that person and took a walk in their shoes, you have no right to judge them.
Just, please, be careful, because not everyone in this world is [careful].
Compassion is important. Kindness is important.
Love is very very very important.
And above all else:
DON’T INTERRUPT PEOPLE
